Toast the Walnuts
In a dry skillet over medium heat, add the walnuts. Toast them for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool.

Chop the Herbs
Finely chop the fresh parsley and fresh mint. You should have about 1 cup of each after chopping.

Prepare Pomegranate Seeds
If using a whole pomegranate, cut it in half and gently tap the back with a wooden spoon to release the seeds. Alternatively, you can buy pre-packaged pomegranate seeds.

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the toasted walnuts, chopped parsley, chopped mint, and pomegranate seeds.

Add Spices
Sprinkle the sumak and isot over the mixture. Add the dried mint for an extra layer of flavor.

Mix Well
Gently mix all the ingredients together until everything is well coated with the spices. Adjust seasoning to taste.
