Dumpling Dough Preparation

Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the egg. Gradually add water while mixing with your hands or a fork until a dough forms.

Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Roll Out the Dough
After resting, roll the dough out on a floured surface until it's about 1/8-inch thick. Cut into 3-inch squares.

Fill the Dumplings
Place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center of each square. Fold over to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal. Pinch the two ends together to form a manti shape.
Cooking

Boil the Dumplings
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Carefully add the manti and cook for 10-12 minutes or until they float to the top and are tender.
