Lavash Bread Ingredients

Method

Kebap Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lamb Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, red bell pepper, cumin powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix thoroughly with your hands or a spoon until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  2. 2

    Shape the Kebabs

Divide the lamb mixture into 4 equal portions. Mold each portion onto a skewer, flattening and shaping it into a long kebab. Ensure that the mixture sticks well to the skewer.

  3. 3

    Cook the Kebabs

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the kebabs with olive oil and grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned and cooked through.

Lavash Bread Directions

  1. 4

    Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, combine the lukewarm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy. In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour and salt. Slowly add the yeast mixture and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.

  2. 5

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  3. 6

    Shape and Cook the Lavash

Once risen, divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle or oval. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and cook each piece of rolled dough for about 1-2 minutes on each side until puffed and lightly browned.
