    Prepare the Oven

    Preheat your broiler to high heat.

    Make the Herb Butter

    In a medium bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

    Prepare the Oysters

    Shuck the oysters and place them on a baking sheet, ensuring they are stable and not tipping over.

    Add the Herb Butter

    Spoon a generous amount of the herb butter mixture onto each oyster.

    Broil the Oysters

    Sprinkle the grated Pecorino Romano cheese on top of the buttered oysters. Place the baking sheet under the broiler and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

    Serve

    Remove the oysters from the oven, let them cool for a minute, and serve immediately.
