Method
Preparation of Meat
Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 7-10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon until fully cooked and browned. Drain excess fat.
Chicken Breast
In a pot, boil the chicken breast in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from water, let it cool slightly, then shred using two forks.
Pork Shoulder
In a slow cooker, place the pork shoulder. Season with salt, pepper, and any desired spices. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until tender. Shred the meat using two forks.
Assembling the Tacos
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
Fill the Tortillas
Take a warm tortilla and place a generous amount of your choice of meat in the center. Top with chopped onions, cilantro, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
Add Condiments
Spoon a dollop of sour cream and salsa on top of the filling. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos.
Serve
Fold the tortillas in half and serve immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
