Tiramisu Preparation

1. Prepare the Coffee Mixture

Brew the espresso and let it cool. Mix with sugar and vanilla extract.

2. Make the Cream Mixture

In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until thick. Fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth.

3. Layer the Tiramisu

Dip the ladyfingers in the coffee mixture and layer them in a dish. Spread half of the cream mixture over the cookies. Repeat the layers.

4. Chill and Serve

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle chocolate shavings before serving.

Tartufo Preparation

5. Form the Ice Cream Balls

Scoop the chocolate and vanilla ice cream into balls and place them in the freezer to firm up.

6. Assemble the Tartufo

Take a chocolate ice cream ball and press it around with chocolate syrup and chopped nuts. Roll it in cocoa powder.

7. Chill and Serve

Freeze the assembled tartufi for at least 1 hour before serving.
