Prepare the Marinara Sauce
In a saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and black pepper to the saucepan. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in fresh basil before serving.

Cook the Beef Medallions
Season both sides of the beef tenderloin medallions with salt and black pepper.

Remove the medallions from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.

Plate the beef medallions and generously top with the garlic and oregano marinara sauce. Serve immediately.
