Prepare the Ingredients
Start by seasoning the beef tenderloin medallions with salt and black pepper on both sides. Mince the garlic cloves.

Sear the Medallions
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef medallions and sear for about 3–4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the canned crushed tomatoes and dried oregano. Stir well and bring to a simmer.

Combine and Serve
Return the seared beef medallions to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Let it simmer for another 2–3 minutes to heat through. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
