In a large mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher. Add cooked quinoa, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground flaxseed, breadcrumbs, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Prepare the Burger Mixture

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty. Place patties on a plate.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook each patty for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
