Ingredients for Split Plate

Method

Preparation Instructions for Split Plate

  1. 1

    Cook the Cheeseburger

In a skillet or grill, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty and let it melt.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Hot Dog

While the burger is cooking, grill or boil the hot dog until heated through, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Cheeseburger

Toast the hamburger bun lightly. Place the cooked cheeseburger patty on the bottom half of the bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Close with the top half of the bun.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Hot Dog

Place the hot dog in the bun and add your choice of condiments like ketchup and mustard.

  5. 5

    Serve

On a plate, place the cheeseburger on one side and the hot dog on the other. Serve immediately.
