Prepare the Bread
Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.

Assemble the Sandwich
On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing. Top with the other two slices of bread, buttered side out.

Grill the Sandwich
Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Serve
Remove the sandwiches from the skillet, cut in half, and serve warm.
