Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Form the Patty

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip it.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Bun

While the patty is cooking, lightly toast the burger bun on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the cheeseburger immediately while hot.
