Prepare the Sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the pork sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. This should take about 8-10 minutes.

Assemble the Bernese Mountain Dogs
In each hot dog bun, place a portion of the cooked sausage. Top with sautéed mushrooms and shredded Swiss cheese.

Place the assembled hot dogs under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven, drizzle with Dijon mustard, and serve hot.
