A traditional mojito and one of Doc's favorites! A refreshing blend of Gold Rum, muddled mint, lime, simple syrup, and soda.

Mojito Preparation

Muddle the Mint
In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press down and twist the mint leaves to release their oils. Be careful not to shred them too much.

Add Lime Juice and Simple Syrup
Pour in the fresh lime juice and simple syrup over the muddled mint. Stir gently to combine.

Add Gold Rum
Pour the gold rum into the glass with the mint, lime juice, and simple syrup mixture. Stir gently to mix the ingredients thoroughly.

Add Ice
Fill the glass with ice cubes to the top, allowing the ingredients to chill.

Garnish and Serve
Garnish the drink with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately with a straw for sipping.
