Preparing the Fish

Marinate the Fish
In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them well. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Fish
After marinating, heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before flaking the fish into bite-sized pieces.

Warm the Tortillas
In a separate skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top just before eating.
