Method
Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Drain and dry it using a salad spinner or by patting with paper towels. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Croutons
Once the romaine is prepared, add the croutons to the bowl with the lettuce.
Dressing Preparation
- 3
Make the Caesar Dressing
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic (crushed or finely chopped), lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Assembly
- 4
Combine Salad and Dressing
Drizzle the prepared Caesar dressing over the romaine and croutons in the salad bowl. Toss gently to coat the lettuce and croutons evenly with the dressing.
- 5
Add Pecorino Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded pecorino cheese over the top of the salad. Toss lightly to combine or leave it on top for a more appealing presentation.
