Salad Base

Method

Prepare the Salad

  1. 1

    Wash and Prepare Greens

Rinse the mixed salad greens under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat them dry with a paper towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess moisture.

  2. 2

    Slice Vegetables

Using a sharp knife, thinly slice the fennel bulb, radishes, and red onion. Dice the tomato and cucumber into bite-sized pieces.

  3. 3

    Combine Salad Ingredients

In a large salad bowl, combine the prepared salad greens, crumbled feta cheese, shaved fennel, sliced radishes, diced tomato, sliced red onion, and diced cucumber.

Make the Vinaigrette

  1. 4

    Combine Vinaigrette Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, and honey until well combined.

  2. 5

    Season the Vinaigrette

Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to the vinaigrette mixture to taste. Whisk again to incorporate the seasonings.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 6

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the prepared vinaigrette over the salad mixture in the bowl. Use salad tongs or two large spoons to gently toss the salad until all ingredients are evenly coated with the vinaigrette.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately on individual plates or in a large serving bowl. Enjoy your Django Salad fresh!
