Burger Patties

Toppings

Buns

Method

Prepare the Patties

1

Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Divide the mixture into two equal portions (about 4 oz each) and form into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

2

Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of white American cheese on each patty. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Prepare the Special Sauce

3

Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, finely chopped pickles, and smoked paprika. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Set aside.

Assemble the Burger

4

Toast the Buns

Optional: Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.

5

Layer the Ingredients

Spread a generous amount of the special sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a cheese-topped patty on each bun, followed by red onions and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
