Waffle Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Waffle Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.
- 2
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- 3
Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay.
- 4
Preheat the Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- 5
Cook the Waffles
Lightly grease the waffle iron with butter or cooking spray. Pour the appropriate amount of batter onto the waffle iron and close the lid. Cook until golden brown, usually about 4-5 minutes.
- 6
Serve
Serve the waffles warm with butter and NH Maple syrup. Optionally, add fresh berries on top for an additional cost.
