Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Caramelize the Onions

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Slice the onion thinly and add it to the skillet. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden brown and caramelized.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Burger Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions and shape them into patties.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

In the skillet used for the bacon, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to allow the cheese to melt.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Paddy Melt

On a slice of Texas Toast, place one burger patty with melted cheese, followed by two slices of bacon and a generous amount of caramelized onions. Top with another slice of Texas Toast.

  7. 7

    Serve with Home Fries

Serve the Murphy's Paddy Melt with a side of home fries and enjoy!
