Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation and Assembly

  1. 1

    Cook the Chicken

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken until it is golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from heat, shred the chicken, and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Pulled Pork

If using pre-cooked pulled pork, warm it in a saucepan over medium heat until heated through. If cooking from scratch, slow cook until tender and shred with forks.

  3. 3

    Scramble the Eggs

In a bowl, whisk the eggs until fully combined. In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, scramble the eggs until they are fluffy and fully cooked, approximately 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Cook the Sausage

In a separate skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, about 5-6 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Gravy

In a small saucepan, heat the jalapeno gravy over low heat until warm, stirring occasionally.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Tacos

In each taco shell or chip, layer your choice of meat (chicken or pulled pork), scrambled eggs, and sausage. Drizzle with jalapeno gravy and top with shredded cheese.

  7. 7

    Add Pineapple Salsa

Finish off the tacos by generously spooning pineapple salsa on top of each assembled taco.

  8. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately while warm. Enjoy your Trash Can Tacos!
