Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Start by preheating your oven to 150°C (300°F). While the oven is heating, rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil to keep them moist. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.

  5. 5

    Finish Cooking

Increase the oven temperature to 220°C (425°F) and return the ribs to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes, allowing the BBQ sauce to caramelize.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the ribs are cooked to your liking, remove them from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice between the bones and serve warm with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
