Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Slice Vegetables

Wash the tomato and lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thin rounds and set aside. Peel and slice the onion into thin rings.

Cooking Burger Patties

  1. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 3

    Cook the Patties

Place the Fry's veggie burger patties in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until heated through and golden brown.

  3. 4

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place two slices of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cover the skillet to help the cheese melt.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on a separate skillet or toaster until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, and onion rings. Add your choice of condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise) on top, and finish with the top half of the bun.

Final Touch

  1. 7

    Serve

Cut the burger in half if desired, and serve immediately while hot with extra condiments on the side.
