Buns Preparation
1. Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Add flour, melted butter, salt, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
2. Knead and Rise
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
3. Shape the Buns
Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
4. Bake the Buns
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool.
