Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Toppings

  1. 3

    Roast the Mushrooms

While the patties are cooking, clean and slice the wild mushrooms. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and tender.

  2. 4

    Melt the Cheese

In the last minute of cooking the beef patties, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and cover the skillet or grill to melt the cheese.

  3. 5

    Prepare the Mayo

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with chopped fresh parsley (if using) for added flavor.

Burger Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or skillet. Spread the prepared parsley mayo on the bottom half of each bun. Place the beef patty with melted Swiss cheese on top, followed by a generous portion of sautéed mushrooms. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
