Parmesan Garlic Bread

Pomodoro Sauce

Method

Meatballs

1

Prepare the Meatball Mixture

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

2

Form the Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3

Cook the Meatballs

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Parmesan Garlic Bread

4

Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, chopped parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.

5

Toast the Bread

Slice the baguette or slider rolls in half. Spread the garlic butter mixture on each half and place them on a baking sheet.

6

Bake the Bread

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the bread for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Pomodoro Sauce

7

Sauté the Vegetables

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

8

Make the Sauce

Add crushed tomatoes, fresh basil, salt, black pepper, and sugar to the saucepan. Stir and let simmer for 15-20 minutes to develop flavors.

Assembly

9

Assemble the Sliders

On each Parmesan garlic bread half, place a cooked meatball and spoon some pomodoro sauce over it. Top with the other half of the bread.

10

Serve

Serve the meatball sliders immediately while it's warm. Enjoy!
