Main Ingredients

Bos Sauce

Method

Preparation of Bos Sauce

  1. 1

    Make the Bos Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Mix well until smooth. Set aside.

Assembling the Reuben

  1. 2

    Layer Ingredients

Take two slices of marble rye bread and spread a generous amount of Bos sauce on one side of each slice.

  2. 3

    Add Corned Beef

Layer half of the corned beef evenly over the Bos sauce on one slice of bread.

  3. 4

    Add Sauerkraut

Spoon the sauerkraut over the corned beef, ensuring even coverage.

  4. 5

    Add Swiss Cheese

Place two slices of Swiss cheese on top of the sauerkraut.

  5. 6

    Top it Off

Place the second slice of bread on top, sauce side down, to complete the sandwich.

Toasting the Reuben

  1. 7

    Toast the Sandwich

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the assembled sandwich in the skillet and toast for about 4-5 minutes on one side, or until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Flip and Melt

Carefully flip the sandwich and add a little butter to the skillet if desired. Toast the other side for an additional 4-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

Serving

  1. 9

    Slice and Serve

Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half diagonally, and serve warm with extra Bos sauce on the side if desired.
