Method

Brewing Coffee

  1. 1

    Prepare Coffee Grounds

Measure 1 cup of coarse ground coffee using a standard measuring cup.

  2. 2

    Combine Coffee and Water

In a large pitcher or container, combine the 1 cup of coarse ground coffee with 4 cups of filtered water.

  3. 3

    Steep the Mixture

Cover the container and let the coffee steep at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours to develop a rich flavor.

  4. 4

    Strain the Coffee

After steeping, strain the coffee mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or coffee filter into another container to remove the coffee grounds.

Nitrogen Infusion

  1. 5

    Prepare for Infusion

Transfer the strained cold brew coffee into a nitro coffee maker or a whipped cream dispenser that can hold nitrogen cartridges.

  2. 6

    Infuse with Nitrogen

Insert the nitrogen gas cartridge into the dispenser and shake it vigorously for about 30 seconds to infuse the coffee with nitrogen.

  3. 7

    Serve

Pour the nitro cold brew into a glass and watch as it cascades beautifully.

Flavoring (Optional)

  1. 8

    Add Sweetener

If desired, add 2 tablespoons of simple syrup and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the nitro cold brew before serving for added flavor.

  2. 9

    Stir and Enjoy

Gently stir the mixture to combine the sweetener and enjoy your refreshing nitro cold brew!
