Dough

Bechamel Sauce

Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead Dough

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Bechamel Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Melt Butter

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  2. 6

    Add Flour

Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes until pale and bubbly.

  3. 7

    Add Milk

Slowly pour in the milk while continuously whisking to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon.

  4. 8

    Season Sauce

Add salt and nutmeg, whisking until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.

Pizza Assembly

  1. 9

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 10

    Roll Out Dough

Punch down the risen dough and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it out to fit your pizza pan.

  3. 11

    Add Bechamel Sauce

Spread the prepared bechamel sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough.

  4. 12

    Add Toppings

Sprinkle cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and diced ham over the bechamel sauce.

  5. 13

    Bake Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  6. 14

    Fry Eggs

While the pizza is baking, fry the eggs to your liking (sunny side up or over easy).

  7. 15

    Top with Eggs

Once the pizza is done baking, remove it from the oven and place the fried eggs on top.

  8. 16

    Serve

Slice the pizza and serve immediately while hot.
