Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy, approximately 6-8 minutes. Flip occasionally for even cooking. Once done, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Lettuce and Tomato

While the bacon is cooking, rinse the lettuce under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Tear the leaves into manageable pieces. Then, slice the large tomato into thick slices.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Burrata

Carefully slice the burrata cheese in half to expose the creamy interior. Set aside for assembly.

  4. 4

    Toast the Bread

Lightly toast the marble rye bread in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Spread the Mayo

Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted marble rye bread.

  2. 6

    Layer the Ingredients

On two slices of bread with mayo, layer the lettuce, followed by the crispy bacon, slices of tomato, and then the burrata halves.

  3. 7

    Finish the Sandwich

Top with the remaining slices of bread, mayo side down. Press gently to combine.

  4. 8

    Slice and Serve

Cut the sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately, enjoying the layers of flavor.
