Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tomato Sauce

In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the tomato sauce, add salt, and simmer for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Warm the Goat Cheese

Place the goat cheese in a small oven-safe dish. Pour the warm tomato sauce over the cheese, ensuring it is well covered. Place the dish in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is warm and soft.

  3. 3

    Grill the Sourdough

While the cheese is baking, brush the sourdough slices with olive oil on both sides. Grill them on a pan or grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

  4. 4

    Serve

Once the goat cheese is warmed through and bubbly, remove it from the oven. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately with the grilled sourdough on the side.
