Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Mushrooms
Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth. Remove the stems and set them aside. Hollow out the mushroom caps using a small spoon, creating space for the stuffing.
Prepare the Stuffing

Cook the Sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, add the Italian sausage. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, sautéed onions and garlic, cream cheese, shredded Pepper Jack cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Stuff the Mushrooms

Fill the Mushroom Caps
Using a spoon, carefully fill each mushroom cap with the sausage mixture, pressing down slightly to pack it in.
Prepare the Topping

Mix Topping Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake the Mushrooms

Top and Bake
Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the stuffed mushrooms. Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the topping is golden brown.

Cool and Serve
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your sausage stuffed mushrooms warm!
