Preparing the Topping

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them into a mixing bowl.

Prepare the Basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves finely and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add Dressing
Drizzle the white balsamic vinegar and olive oil over the tomato mixture. Season with salt and black pepper.

Mix the Topping
Gently stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined. Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Preparing the Bread

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baguette
Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush each slice lightly with olive oil.

Toast the Bread
Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy.
Assembly

Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top each slice with a generous spoonful of the tomato-basil mixture.
