Faux Filet

Roasted Potatoes

Method

Cooking Faux Filet

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Rub the faux filet steak with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest.

Roasting Potatoes

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and halve the baby potatoes.

  2. 4

    Roast the Potatoes

Toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Spread on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and tender.

Cooking Vegetables

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and cut the seasonal vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 6

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the vegetables, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 8-10 minutes until slightly tender. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar before serving.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the faux filet steak alongside roasted potatoes and sautéed market fresh vegetables. Enjoy!
