Catch of the day
Rinse the fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Add the seasoned fish fillets to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown, then carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes on the other side until cooked through.
Once the fish is cooked, drizzle the lemon juice over the fillets and sprinkle with chopped parsley and capers. Cook for an additional minute to combine the flavors.
Remove the fish from the skillet and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
