Collard Greens Preparation
Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
Cook the Collard Greens
Add the chopped collard greens to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and sauté until the greens are wilted and tender (about 5-7 minutes). Stir in the shredded turkey meat and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Parmesan Cream Sauce Preparation
Make the Cream Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Assembly and Baking
Combine and Bake
In a baking dish, combine the sautéed collard greens and turkey meat with the parmesan cream sauce. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly coated. Spread the mixture evenly in the dish.
Bake the Dip
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Serving
Serve
Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
