Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better seasoning absorption. Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar. Rub this spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). This low and slow cooking method will help the ribs to become tender.

  2. 4

    Wrap and Bake

Wrap the seasoned ribs in aluminum foil, creating a tight seal. Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 5

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the top of the ribs.

  4. 6

    Grill for Finish

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the sauced ribs on the grill and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sauce caramelizes.
