Meat and Marinade

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Start by preheating your grill or smoker to a temperature of 120°C (250°F).

  2. 2

    Make the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to create a rub.

  3. 3

    Rub the Ribs

Apply the rub generously all over the pork ribs. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  4. 4

    Smoke the Ribs

Place the ribs on the grill or in the smoker, bone side down. Smoke for about 3 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature.

  5. 5

    Add Moisture

After 2 hours, spritz the ribs with apple cider vinegar every 30 minutes to keep them moist.

  6. 6

    Glaze with BBQ Sauce

During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.

  7. 7

    Check for Doneness

The ribs are done when they are tender and the meat has pulled back from the bones. Internal temperature should reach at least 70°C (160°F).

  8. 8

    Rest and Serve

Remove the ribs from the grill, let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
