Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until bubbly. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens. Add the aged cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce. Drizzle in the black truffle oil and mix until well combined.

  4. 4

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish and top with bread crumbs.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and crispy.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
