Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.

  2. 2

    Knead the Dough

On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Melt butter for spreading.

  4. 4

    Roll the Dough

Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread melted butter over the dough and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top.

  5. 5

    Shape the Rolls

Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

  6. 6

    Second Rise

Cover the rolls and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

  7. 7

    Bake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

  8. 8

    Make the Icing

While the rolls are baking, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.

  9. 9

    Finish the Rolls

Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes before drizzling the icing on top.
