Chicken Pop-Ins

Method

Prepare Chicken Pop-Ins

  1. 1

    Coat the Chicken

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. In another bowl, mix the beaten egg with milk. Dip the diced chicken into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly with the flour mixture.

  2. 2

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the chicken pop-ins in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Prepare Buffalo Sauce

  1. 3

    Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until well combined. Remove from heat.

Combine and Serve

  1. 4

    Toss in Sauce

In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken pop-ins with the Buffalo sauce until evenly coated.

  2. 5

    Serve

Serve the Buffalo Pop-Ins warm with Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
