Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Snapper

Season the snapper fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Snapper

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the snapper fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter, minced garlic, and shallots. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.

  4. 4

    Add Wine and Crab

Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes to reduce slightly. Stir in the crab meat and chopped parsley.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Return the snapper fillets to the skillet, spooning the crab sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through before serving.
