Chicken Tenders
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips of about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour mixed with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in one; beaten eggs in the second; and breadcrumbs in the third.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat until all chicken strips are coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken Tenders
Carefully place the breaded chicken strips into the hot oil. Fry in batches for 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, turning occasionally.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
