Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

  2. 2

    Sear the Pork

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the pork on all sides until browned, about 5 minutes total.

  3. 3

    Add Aromatics

Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the diced potatoes, shredded cabbage, pineapple chunks, and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine.

  5. 5

    Bake

Cover the skillet with a lid or aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 1.5 hours, or until the pork is tender.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven, let it rest for 10 minutes, then garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
