Prepare crust
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine 2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs, 5 tablespoons unsalted melted butter, and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. Stir until the crumbs are evenly moistened, then press into a 9-inch pie pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then cool completely on a rack.

Make fudge filling
In a saucepan over low heat, whisk together 1 cup cream cheese (softened), 0.5 cup granulated sugar, 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 0.5 cup heavy cream, and 2 tablespoons butter until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips and stir until melted and glossy.

Assemble fudge layer
Pour the warm fudge filling over the cooled crust. Smooth the top and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set.

Prepare vanilla whipped topping
In a chilled bowl, whip 1 cup heavy cream with 2 tablespoons powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until stiff peaks form.

Spread the whipped topping over the fudge layer. Sprinkle 0.5 cup chopped pecans and 0.25 cup chocolate shavings on top. Return to the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
