Method

Prep

1

Chill glass

If serving up (straight up), place a coupe or chilled martini glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to chill. If serving in a rocks glass, fill the glass with ice to chill while you mix.

2

Muddle blueberries (optional for extra flavor)

Place 6 fresh blueberries in a shaker and muddle gently to release juices — this step is optional if you want a clearer cocktail.

Build & Shake

3

Add 2 oz Western Son Blueberry Vodka to a cocktail shaker.

4

Add 1 oz fresh lemon juice and 0.75 oz simple syrup to the shaker.

5

Add 1 oz blueberry lemonade (or prepared lemonade) to round out the citrus and blueberry notes.

6

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well-chilled.

Strain & Serve

7

If you muddled blueberries and want a clearer drink, double-strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer into the chilled coupe or martini glass. If serving over ice, discard the ice used to chill the glass, fill the serving glass with fresh ice, and strain over the ice.

8

Garnish with 6–8 fresh blueberries threaded on a cocktail pick and a lemon wheel or twist on the rim. Add a mint sprig if desired for aroma.

9

Serve immediately.
