1. Prepare glass
Select a large wine glass (or an old-fashioned glass). Fill the glass generously with ice so the drink stays chilled and the bubbles last longer.
2. Combine Aperol and bitters
Pour 2 oz Aperol into the ice-filled glass. Add 2 dashes of Watkins orange bitters directly on top of the Aperol.
3. Add Prosecco
Slowly pour 3 oz La Marca Prosecco (or dry sparkling wine) into the glass. Pouring slowly helps preserve carbonation and creates a nice mix without needing to stir vigorously.
4. Top with soda
Add 1 oz soda water to lighten the cocktail and add a refreshing finish. If you prefer a slightly less fizzy drink, reduce to 0.5 oz.
5. Gently combine
Give the drink one gentle stir (1–2 turns) with a bar spoon to combine Aperol, Prosecco and soda without knocking out too much effervescence.
6. Garnish and serve
Garnish with one fresh orange slice placed on the rim or floated in the glass. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.
