Instructions
- 1
Prepare the White Chocolate Cups
Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth. Using a spoon or a brush, coat the inside of mini cupcake liners with the melted white chocolate. Place in the refrigerator to set for about 15 minutes.
- 2
Make the Chocolate Mousse
In a heatproof bowl, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips over a pot of simmering water. Stir until smooth and let cool slightly. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add melted chocolate and vanilla extract to the egg mixture, stirring until combined. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it gently into the chocolate mixture. Add a pinch of salt to taste.
- 3
Assemble the Dessert
Once the white chocolate cups have set, carefully remove them from the liners. Fill each cup with the chocolate mousse. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- 4
Serve
Serve the dessert cups chilled, optionally garnished with chocolate shavings or fresh berries.
