Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine the Angus ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Truffle Aioli

In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon truffle oil and a pinch of salt to taste. Stir until well combined.

  5. 5

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 8 ounces of sliced mushrooms and 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until mushrooms are golden brown.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread the truffle aioli on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place the patty with melted cheese on top, followed by the sautéed thyme mushrooms. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
