Prepare the Pork
In a slow cooker, place the pork shoulder. Add the diced onion, chopped green bell pepper, barbecue sauce, water, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cook the Pork
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.

Prepare the Sandwiches
Toast the slices of bread until golden brown. Place a generous amount of pulled pork on each slice of bread.

Add Toppings
Top each sandwich with coleslaw and additional barbecue sauce if desired.

Serve the pulled pork sandwiches warm and enjoy!
